Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Smash Seasonings Pork Rub
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cans Dark Red Kidney Beans, Drained
  • 3 cans Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 3 cans Tomato Juice Used to thin out the chili

Instructions

  • Empty drained kidney beans and diced tomatoes into a pot on medium heat.

  • Add 2 tbsp oil to a sauté pan on high heat and sauté onions until they are translucent but don't over cook. Add ground beef and 2 tbsp of the pork rub to the sauté pan and cook until browned. Add to pot once the meat is browned.
  • Add 1 tbsp pork rub to the pot. Add tomato juice until it comes level with the mixture. Stir well then let simmer covered over low-med heat.
  • Simmer until it reaches your desired thickness.
